A lot of forests used to be dumpsites, in the Netherlands. We cover them up with foil, soil and finally trees. In the Netherlands we turn these man-made dumpsites into man-made forests for the sake of our own comfort. However, about all the waste we put on transport we don't seem to care.

The waste we transport to the other side of the world, result in big dumpsites where locals live right next to them in full exposure of all the toxic fumes and liquids. Because it is out of our sight, not public to us anymore, we don’t seem to care. We keep the Netherlands beautiful by covering up our mess, but don't do the same in the places where our dump is transported too.

To remember the Dutch of what their forests used to be, before they were man-made comfort zones beautiful to the eye. We will use air-fresheners, scented as dumpsites, to hack the comfort of people in these man-made forests.
